We believe in offering patients realistic, professional charges. Our fees are set partly by reference to your oral health to help us to provide a high quality service in a relaxed environment. We don’t believe in overcharging for any procedure.

Yes, but remember you must be orally fit to join the Safe plan. In this case, any work that you need to make you orally fit would have to be done before joining the scheme.
The amount of treatment you’ve had in the past and your current dental condition from an initial examination will guide the dentist in his or her clinical judgment.

You may need to have a dental examination to determine whether you’re dentally fit. If you’re not dentally fit to join, you’ll need to have all the necessary treatment to ensure you are before you can join. If this applies to you, we’ll give you a full written estimate of the costs and your treatment will only start with your consent.

Yes, you just need to fill out our quick application form telling us which plan you wish to join.

Depending on the plan, you may need to have a dental examination before becoming a member of Dencare.

When you join Dencare you’ll be given a copy of your application form with the Dencare Agreement Terms on the reverse. When DPAS have received and processed the application form, you’ll receive a Welcome Pack from DPAS. This includes:

  • A letter about direct debit payment dates and the amount you’ll pay
  • A Dencare Brochure relevant to the plan you’ve joined
  • A full copy of the Worldwide Accident and Emergency Insurance Cover
  • A membership card with your name, plan number and emergency helpline numbers
You’ll need to give three months’ written notice to Dencap Limited before you leave a plan. However, you can leave a plan by giving at least two months’ prior written notice within one month of receiving a notice from Dencap Limited that it intends to increase the fees or alter the scope of its scheme. Please see the Terms & Conditions of your plan to find out more.
Yes, the policy does not cover:

  • Invisalign, Clearstep and orthodontic appliance therapy
  • Dental implants and related superstructures
  • Treatment under sedation
  • Valplast dentures
  • Lumineers
  • Specialist referrals
  • Pharmaceutical items
  • Prescription fees
  • Missed appointment charges

The above treatments and fees are payable at the time of treatment, subject to any terms or conditions applicable to the sale of such treatments. You can find out more about your agreement terms here.
